Nicholin Choi, Grandlight, Ambassador of the Shipley Arts Festival – HK Chapter, was invited to the inspiring Shipley Arts and Steyning Festival Concert, held on 3 rd June 2018 at the Steyning Parish Church of St Andrew and St Cuthman.

Malcolm Singer (b.1953) has composed the Shipley Psalms World Premiere commissioned by John
Snelling for this particularly concert. This Psalms has incorporated the spirit and background of Psalm
96, 98, 99 and 136 and was played by Andrew Bernardi and other musicians with the Soprano singer,
from the Royal Holloway Choir, singing to give thanks unto the Lord.

The Requiem for the Living was also played at the concert where the composer of the music Fiona
Howe, was an audience to this beautiful piece being played by the musicians and sung by the Royal
Holloway Choir. The Requiem for the Living was recently nominated for Best Original Score for a
Drama Feature by the 2017 Reel Music Award
